Jarak I'm not sure why Nordicwinter aren't substantially bigger than they seem to be - they're definitely one of the top currently-active DSBM projects, to my mind at least.

H.L. Lots of projects in the atmospheric/ depressive/ post-black metal sector are able to create a fine dark and sinister mood, but lots of them fail in creating really unique and memorable songs which continue to play in your mind, when the last tone has faded. NORDICWINTER are able to do so! "A Shadow's Veil" for example or also "In Solitude" are songs with individuality and a catchy character. Here is the moment, where craft becomes art and the music not only touches the ear but the soul as well! Favorite track: A Shadow's Veil.

On ne frappe pas un homme à terre : c'est ce que dit la règle mais NONE a déjà prouvé qu'il ne les suivait pas et si son album éponyme retirait toute perspective de béatitude spirituelle, Life has gone on long enough, son deuxième opus, nous interdit l'accès au bonheur terrestre. La vie n'a aucune substance et la production plus distante le confirme. Le DSBM s'empare de textures sonores blues, mettant en relief une dépression urbaine. Les cris partent en fumées : ne restent que les pleurs... Jordan Vauvert

Les membres du groupe sont inconnus et son premier album n'a pas de nom ; même le paysage sur la pochette est vaporeux.
